Chocolate Brownie Cake Recipe
Ingredients

• 1 box of chocolate cake mix
• 1 box of Fudge Brownie mix
• 4 eggs
• 1 1/4 c water
• 1 c oil
Ganache
• 1 c fresh cream
• 1 bag (12 ounces) of semi-sweet chocolate
Instructions
1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Use a baker to spray or use butter/flour to prepare a cauldron.
2. Mix the first five ingredients in a large bowl, stir for 2 minutes or until most of the bulk disappears.
3. Pour the batter into a prepared pan and bake for 50-55 minutes.
4. After the baking is completed, remove the cake and put it in the pan for cooling for up to five minutes. Carefully place the cake on a cooling rack and allow it to cool for more than 30 minutes.
Ganache
1. Place heavy cream in a large microwave oven and heat for about 2 minutes. You want to make the cream boil.
2. Carefully pour the chocolate sauce into the cream... It may blistering, which is OK.
3. Sit down for 5 minutes. Beat the chocolate and cream until smooth, about 1 minute.
4. Pour the cooled cake and serve it.
Tips for Success:
Make sure you ONLY add the ingredients on the ingredient list. Do not follow the directions on the box mix.
I shifted the cake mix and brownie mix into my bowl to avoid lumps.
This cake takes just moments to put together and tastes great. The crumb is fine and the texture is smooth. I love the semi-sweet chocolate ganache but if you prefer milk chocolate feel free to substitute.
